In the latest edition of PC User Magazine, QuickBooks 2011/12 has been awarded a “PC User Best Buy”. PC User’s accounting software reviewer Kurt Best writes “QuickBooks has a very appealing interface that’s efficient and intuitive. The standard reporting options are very sophisticated and offer superior flexibility.” He also notes that the customisable company snapshot “improves on previous versions”, and that the Reckon GovConnect Activity Statement lodgement application “streamlines the process of preparing and lodging BAS statements, making compliance with the ATO a little less stressful.”
Also in the July issue of PC User Magazine, Kurt Best writes about online accounting software options including QuickBooks Hosted. He writes “this option would be a perfect choice for existing QuickBooks users looking for access to online functionality. The software looks and feels like it’s running on your local PC. While some other online applications are heavily influenced by browser formatting, QuickBooks Hosted leaves those interface restrictions after logon.”
